Created by Lakewood Catholic Academy in 2017, The Great Lake Shake is an LCA Middle School Signature Experience that helps sixth grade students master the art of communication — a skill essential for success in high school, college, and beyond.

Through this innovative program, students are coached to present themselves with confidence, connect meaningfully with adults, and showcase skills like eye contact, active listening, and professional poise. The event is a friendly competition where more than 60 Cleveland-area leaders serve as judges, helping students put their learning into action.

Recognized nationally for innovation, The Great Lake Shake reflects LCA's commitment to developing not only bright minds but also confident, capable young communicators.
