Lakewood Catholic Academy: A Sacred Space, A Joyful Place

We are revitalizing LCA's backyard where faith and fun flourish side by side — a peaceful retreat for prayer and reflection, and a vibrant area for children to play, grow, and connect with nature. At the heart of the space will remain a newly restored Grotto honoring Mother Mary, reminding us of grace, beauty, and care.

Join us as we transform this special space at our school into a haven for hearts and a home for hope!

The Project Will Include:

A restored Grotto with new landscaping and permanent lighting
A brick plaza in front of the Grotto with benches for gathering and prayer
Adirondack chairs and picnic table seating throughout the backyard
Regraded and reseeded green space to avoid the flooding to make the space more usable for outdoor recess
A reimagined early childhood play area in the northwest corner
